Established over 100 years ago
Owned by the Canton of Valais since 1918, the Domaine du Grand Brûlé is ideally situated on the alluvial fan of the Losentze, the river which joins the municipalities of Chamoson and Leytron. The estate’s twelve hectares of exceptional terroir benefit from an ideal, south-facing location, and are planted with a palette of 22 principal grape varieties, of which 27% are indigenous varieties like Petite Arvine and Cornalin.
This privileged situation produces highly expressive wines that marry subtle, nuanced notes with rich, complex aromas. To ensure you get the greatest possible enjoyment from our wines, they are matured according to Valais traditions and the artisanal knowledge of the estate’s winemakers and oenologists.
